Markham Village Music Festival

 

Friday – Saturday, June 15 & 16,2007

Taking place the third weekend in June, the 2007 Markham Village Music Festival will be held on Main Street (Markham Road north of Highway 7). The road will be closed on Friday evening and Saturday during the day for this annual event.

This year, the Markham Village Music Festival will be celebrating its 28th Anniversary! It all started with the Kinsmen Club in 1978 and many of their members will be on hand for the celebration. Now organized by a group of community volunteers, the Festival promises fun for all ages. There are many wonderful musicians, professional and amateur, in Markham and once again they will be featured throughout the weekend. 

Taste of Markham s in its second year and celebrates the many cultures of Markham. Taste of Markham will be held from 6-10 pm on the Friday evening. Morgan Park will hold fun for kids of all ages.
